Hassler selected for AIA Leadership Academy

Todd Hassler, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP is one of only twenty-eight architects nation-wide to be selected for the distinguished AIA Leadership Academy for the 2020-2022 inaugural class. The program is small and highly selective, helping to develop future leaders in the architectural profession—not only in practice, but also in their communities.

 

The AIA Leadership Academy is a three-year program designed for architects who are ready for the next level of leadership in their firm, profession, and community. They learn critical business and leadership skills to grow their business, lead change and innovation, empower and engage people, and create immediate impact.

LEED GA for Duan

PVA’s newest designer/intern architect, Winny Xiaotian Duan, D. Arch has received her LEED Green Associate (LEED GA) credential. A LEED credential denotes proficiency in today’s sustainable design, construction and operations standards. The LEED GA credential signifying core competency in green building principles.

PVA at ASID's Design Impacts Lives Event

PVA Interior Designer, Lisa Nguyen volunteered at the ASID Design Impacts Lives Event. The event promotes awareness and direct contact of the interior design profession and professionals to the general public.  Lisa and other volunteers provided design consultation in a speed type dating format. Her pup, Nymeria, made a guest appearance and stole the show. Hassler Promoted to Senior Associate

PVA proudly announces the promotion of Todd James Hassler, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP, to Senior Associate. He joined the firm in 2015 and was promoted to an Associate in 2017. He earned his B.A. in Architecture from New York Institute of Technology and has over 19 years of commercial and residential experience. 

Hassler is currently the Project Manager/Project Architect on numerous projects that include multiple custom homes and the new Hoakalei Country Club Golf Clubhouse. In addition to his leadership role at PVA, he is a Director at Large for the AIA Honolulu Chapter Board of Directors and serves on the Architect Registration Exam Preparation, Historical Architectural Walking Tour and Emerging Professionals Committees.

PVA Welcomes Cacchione

Mary Rose Cacchione, AIA, LEED AP BD+C, has joined PVA as a Project Architect. Mary Rose received her Bachelors and Masters of Architecture from Tulane University School of Architecture in New Orleans, Louisiana. She has over ten years of experience and is a licensed architect in both Hawaii and New Mexico. She will be working on residential, healthcare, and commercial projects.
