Jessica Holley promoted to Senior Interior Designer at PVA

Jessica Holley has been promoted to Senior Interior Designer at PVA. Jessica joined the firm in October 2005 and received a Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design from Kent State University. Her most notable project is the new 26,000 square foot “carbon neutral” Kahala Estate currently in progress.

Two New Associates Named

Sherri Thom Tsang has been promoted to Associate. She also serves as the firm’s Design Technology Manager. She joined PVA in 1998 after having received her Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Hawaii. Her current projects include the Koa Kea Hotel & Resort, formerly known as the Poipu Beach Hotel, and the Crossroads at Kapolei Shopping Center. Brad Ladwig has also been promoted to Associate. Brad joined PVA in 2003 with and received his Bachelor of Architecture from Tulane University. He is currently the Project Designer for a new 26,000 square foot “carbon neutral” Kahala estate. Once it is completed, it will become the single largest estate on Kahala Avenue.

Michael H. Subiaga Appointed to Partner

Michael H. Subiaga has been appointed to Partner of Peter Vincent Architects. Subiaga has been with the firm for 10 years and has risen through the ranks of Designer, Project Manager, Associate, and most recently Senior Associate. He has more than 22 years of architectural experience and 17 years of management experience. He received his Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. His current projects include Crossroads of Kapolei Shopping Center, various Maui Divers and Island Pearl retail stores, and Longhi’s Waikoloa on the Big Island.

Peter Vincent Installed as President of AIA Honolulu

In his opening remarks as 2007 Chapter President, Peter noted the importance of his team as it coincides with the 150th anniversary of founding of the American Institute of Architects (AIA150: Celebrating the Past, Designing the Future). “By sharing our knowledge and experience, AIA Honolulu members offer our communities the opportunity to celebrate our Hawaii’s rich architectural heritage while addressing emerging challenges and trends across our islands. Working together, we can realize our shared vision for beautiful, safe, healthy and livable communities.”

Two New Employees Join PVA

Sara Jane Arellano (right) joins as Peter Vincent’s Executive Assistant. She has more than 7 years of combined administrative work and office management. She holds a Minor in Business Administration. Pauahi Akuna (left) joins as an Administrative Assistant. Her extensive experience in administration and coordination has spanned more than 2 decades. She is a graduate of Kamehameha Schools.
