Wailupe Circle Residence wins 2012 BIA Renaissance Editor's Choice Award

 PVA's Wailupe Circle Residence won the 2012 BIA Renaissance Award of Editor's Choice. The residence is featured on the cover of Hawaii Home & Remodeling. A quote from the article, given by the couple who decided to renovate and rebuild their Honolulu home: "We chose the general contractor and the architectural firm based on their proven history of outstanding work, high integrity and professional can-do attitude. They were a great team that produced a wonderful luxury home within the budget." 

Quoting the article, "When asked if they are pleased with the final product, the homeowners offer an absolute affirmation." The home owner's satisfaction with the project is evident in this quote from the couple, "The biggest compliment to [Peter Vincent Architects] is that if we had another project to do, we would definitely hire the same."

PVA's Brad Ladwig has been promoted to Senior Associate

Brad Ladwig has been promoted to Senior Associate at Peter Vincent Architects. A graduate of Tulane University School of Architecture in 1991, he received the faculty award for "Outstanding Thesis." Previously, Brad was employed by MAP / Aldo Rossi Studio di Architettura near Gramercy Park in New York. He received honorable mention awards in two national design competitions (PCI Precast Concrete Open Design, Ideas Competition for St. Paul Minnesota Riverfront), and also received the Honolulu AIA Chapter award of merit for Diamond Head Custom Residential Project. His design and painting work has been exhibited in group shows at the Bronx Museum and the National Academy of Design.

Brad joined the firm in 2003, and this month he celebrates his 9th anniversary with PVA.

Bank of Hawaii Celebrates Opening of New Employee Lounge and Executive Dining Room

Cafe Blue (the former Bank of Hawaii Employee Lounge) and The Surfrider Room (the former Bank of Hawaii Executive Dining Room) commenced their grand opening with a blessing on May 1st.

PVA was part of an excellent design team tasked to upgrade both rooms and was happy to celebrate this occasion with the Bank of Hawaii team.
