Project Management Bootcamp as Success!

As part of our dedication to strengthening the firm's project management skills, eleven PVA employees, including Peter and Hiroto, attended an intensive 2 day project management boot camp. The ultimate goal is to better serve our clients while executing innovative design skills.

PVA Welcomes 3 New Employees

PVA is pleased to announce the addition of 3 new members to our team. Jesse Valentine Portz joins PVA as an architect. He has been a licensed architect since 2002 and has more than 8 years of design experience for a variety of institutional, residential, and commercial projects. He holds a Bachelor of Architecture from the California College of Arts. Jessica Work joins the team as an interior designer to work on various commercial and residential projects. Since graduating from Kent State University with a Bachelor in Interior Design in 2004, she has worked designing various commercial and civic projects. Lenore Lum joins as PVA's new office manager. She has worked as a supervisor of sales and merchandising for the past 7 years at a specialty sporting goods company, and holds a Bachelor of Fashion Merchandising from the University of Hawaii.

The Hiring Continues

Garry Neavitt, NCARB joins Peter Vincent & Associates as a senior project manager. He has more than 20 years of experience in a full range of architectural services, from design to construction management. He holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Virginia Tech. Masashi Kato joins the PVA team with 4 years of experience as an architectural designer and project manager. He holds a Bachelor of Architecture from New York Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Civil Engineering, which is received in Japan.

Two New Employees Join the PVA Team

Jamie Jasina joins Peter Vincent & Associates as a senior interior designer. She returns home to Oahu after years of professional development and college education on the Mainland. Past work experience includes a position as senior designer at Lysy Interior Designs in Wilmington, DE, where her work included design services for high-end clientele. Jennifer Merwick joins PVA as an administrative assistant and graphic designer. Past work experience includes graphic design, administrative positions, and sales and management.

Lupe Zarate Joins the PVA Team

Lupe Zarate, Associate AIA, joins Peter Vincent & Associates as an architectural designer and project manager. She has 8 years of experience, most recently with Altria Corporate Services and the Switzer Group. She received her Masters Certificate in Applied Project Management from Villanova University and her Bachelors of Architecture from Cornell University.
